Tom & Candy Hufft

 

 

Almost everyone who uses a computer needs the occasional assistance from an IT Professional. But, not everybody who claims they can fix computers is an expert. An encounter with one of these individuals can leave you with an unresponsive or non-working computer.  Tom and Candy Hufft were recently put in a bind when a moonlighting computer technician severed their computer's connection to the Internet which brought their Home-Based businesses to a grinding halt. With no hope in sight, they turned to us throw them a lifeline to get their computer (and businesses) running again.

 

Fortunately for the Hufft’s, their computer was not completely dead. Internet Explorer was damaged by a malicious program and would not allow them to surf the Internet.  We installed FireFox as a solution for safe and secure access to the Internet.  There was no Anti-Virus or Anti-Malware software on the computer so we installed AVG Free and Ad-Aware Anti-Malware. We also installed Mozy Free Online backup to protect their critical data.  Additionally, we setup a Dell Computer that was to Tom by one of his customers.  We were able to integrate the Dell computer  into his wireless network and setup a general use family computer.
